I was learning about similes . I know that we describe using our senses,and we compare two things using like or as . It  was easy to think of things that match .

I was learning about reflection.I know that reflection is putting shapes and patterns in front of a mirror, and putting it on the other side.

Reflection
l was learning about making inferences. l learnt that l need clues to make inferences. It is tricky because the clues are hard to find.

Making connections

I was learning to make connections to the story.  This means that I need to describe a part of the story, and then think of something it reminds me of in my life.  It was tricky to add detail to my descriptions and make a clear connection.

Understanding multiplication

We are learning about multiplication.
We learnt about using repeated addition to solve multiplication.
For example 5x2 is the same as 2+2+2+2+2.

Making a word plan

I was learning to make a word plan. I know that a word plan has a topic and 3 or 4 ideas. I learnt that  I  can use a word plan to help me with my writing. This is easy for me because I have done it before.

I was learning to make and justify inferences.  I have learnt that this means looking for clues to figure out how characters are feeling or what they are like.  The clues can be what happens in the story or in the pictures.

I have been learning about statistics.  I made bar graphs, pictographs, a pie graph and tally charts.  
We know about the steps for statistics.

I am learning about beginning blends in words I can write more than 6 words because I think in my head what the word sounds like. Spelling is easy for me because all the words are blends are so easy.
